| The professional caregiver is able to: - describe special handling and reprocessing of medical equipment (e.g. endoscopes, ultrasonic probes and electrophysical ablation catheter),
- explain sterilisation process monitoring,
- explain necessary documentation for sterilisation,
- explain the quality control procedure in sterilisation,
- explain the special storage of medical equipment in line with hygiene regulations,
- explain international quality standards with regard to sterile medical goods,
- describe the organisation of the supply of sterile products within the facility and with external partners.
